Yes — crickedle is completely free to play, with no sign-up required.

When does the puzzle reset?

Every day at midnight India Standard Time (UTC+5:30). The daily puzzle is identical for every player worldwide.

How many modes are there?

Six: Guess the Cricketer, Cricket Grid, Career Trail, Ground Spotter, Playing XI and Odd One Out.

Can I lose?

No. There's no lose screen — you keep guessing until you solve it. Your number of attempts is tracked for your stats and streaks.

Which players and leagues are included?

The launch covers the Indian Premier League and the main international (men's) sides, with more leagues planned.

Where does the data come from?

Rosters and photos from TheSportsDB, batting and bowling styles, careers and honours from Wikipedia, and ground photos from Wikimedia Commons.

Is crickedle affiliated with the IPL or ICC?

No. crickedle is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with any cricket board, league or team.
