crickedle — the daily cricket guessing game

crickedle is a free, daily cricket guessing game in the tradition of Wordle. Every day at midnight India Standard Time a fresh puzzle appears in each of six modes — the same puzzle for every player in the world — and there is no lose screen: you simply keep guessing until you solve it, building a streak as you go. It is quick to learn, hard to master, and a fun daily test of how well you really know the game of cricket, from the IPL to the international arena.

The six daily modes

• Guess the Cricketer — a Wordle-style attribute grid. Each guess reveals coloured tiles for nationality, role, batting hand, bowling style, team and age.
• Cricket Grid — a 3×3 immaculate grid; fill every cell with a player who fits both its row and column category.
• Career Trail — trace a player's chain of teams, revealed earliest first, and name whose career it is.
• Ground Spotter — identify a famous cricket ground from a single photo, with hints for city, capacity and home team.
• Playing XI — guess the team from its line-up of flags, roles and batting order.
• Odd One Out — four players, three share a hidden trait; tap the one that doesn't fit.
